Dampare is the worst IGP in Ghana’s history – COP Mensah

He said Dr. George Akuffo Dampare’s tenure as IGP is the worst he has ever seen in Ghana.

COP Alex Mensah appearing before the Committee tasked to investigate an alleged plot to remove the IGP today, Friday, September 1, said he has told the IGP this in his in face on “several occasions.”

He said with him in charge of undertakings of the police organization, the Assistance is going off course.

“Respectable part and good seat, a few open doors and what I said yesterday on the off chance that you give me the open door today, I will say it in the future. As far as I might be concerned, for the 31 years I have been in the assistance, he is the most awful IGP ever,” he said.

COP Alex Mensah on Thursday, August 31, made various confirmations before the Board of trustees.

“Good Seat, I won’t reject that reality today, tomorrow or the following day, I will offer that expression in the future, that the ebb and flow Auditor General of Police isn’t dealing with the Police Administration well.”

The legal advisor cum Sanctioned Bookkeeper said he has been campaigning to be made the Controller General of Police (IGP).

He demanded that despite the fact that he has not been effective at that, he has not abandoned that longing.

The Police boss likewise affirmed to the board of trustees that he’s a supporter of the NPP.

Samuel Atta-Akyea, an Abuakwa South MP, was appointed by the Speaker of Parliament on July 25 as the chairperson of a seven-member ad hoc committee to investigate the controversial audio that was recently leaked, in which voices are heard secretly plotting to oust the Inspector General of Police.
